INGREDIENTS

1kg beef chuck steak cut into small cubes

½ cup yogurt (Curd)

¾ tbsp. salt

2 tbsp. of vegetable oil

3/4 coconut milk

1 ½ cup beef stock

4 garlics minced

2 onions diced

1 tomato diced

2 green chili’s diced 

½ cup fresh coriander leaves

CURRY BLEND

2 tbsp. curry powder

1 tbsp. turmeric

½ tbsp. chili powder

1 tbsp. garam masala

¼ tbsp. black pepper

1 tbsp. coriander

INSTRUCTION

  • Sear the beef in a little bit of oil until golden brown.
  • As the beef cooks, add the onion, garlic and ginger.
  • Stir in the curry spice blend mixture.
  • Add the tomato, coconut milk and lower the heat and cover the pot and simmer for 45minutes or until meat is tender.
  • Once the meat is tender, stir in the yoghurt and re season the beef korma with some salt and pepper.
